Typical Cassette Tape Problems
We can  repair most cassette problems. The most common repairs are tapes that have broken and tapes that get stuck and stop while playing back. We recommend transferring the repaired cassette to CD as the tape will most likely break again.
Broken tape-         
The tape has broken and one  or both ends of the tape are inside of the shell or the tape has come off the spool at one end.
Tape gets stuck while playing back-
There's is only one way to make this repair and that is to replace the shell.
The Dog ate my tape! 
Yes I was able to repair this and make it playable so it could be transferred to a CD.
Run over by a car   
Yes I was able to fix  this and transfer it to a CD.
Tape is in a big tangled pile because you tried to repair it yourself !!!!   
Yes I have actually done a couple of these. It is extremely difficult and time consuming. The cost for putting this back together is $50 and hour will  take several hours. It looks like a nightmare, and believe me, it is!
