Our Process
We use state-of-the-art equipment and software to do the conversions. That, plus our vast experience in this type of conversion produces the
best product possible from your favorite records. We do our best to clean up clicks and crackles (no guarantees however, that we will be able to
get them all cleaned up, but we try.)
This is what is done with each and every vinyl record, at no additional cost:
- The LP is initially cleaned with distilled water.
- After the initial cleaning a professional record cleaning machine is used.
- The LP is played only once. We of course transfer both sides of the LP.
- Sound restoration is applied if necessary or requested by the customer.
- We add track markers to the recorded CD.
- A digital color image of the album cover is created for the jewel case and the CD.
- Where they are available, a list of titles is scanned from the album jacket.
- A spine label showing the title of the album is added to the jewel case.
- We use the finest CDs available, Taiyo-Yuden CDs.
- Your choice of standard or slim-line jewel cases.
- We perform final testing to ensure a proper transfer and restoration of each CD.
